The annual “Discovery Bay Beach Egg Hunt and Carnival” event is coming back soon, bringing endless fun and surprises to the kids! Entering its 18th year, this year’s event will be held on April 18 to 19 (Friday to Saturday). Children aged 3 to 10 are sincerely invited to step onto Tai Pak Bay Beach to participate in this fun-filled Easter egg hunt and search for colorful Easter eggs buried in the beach. In order to ensure that every child returns home with a great deal, the organizers have specially prepared more than 45,000 exquisite prizes and special awards, with a total value of more than HK$1 million!

In addition to the much-anticipated beach egg hunt, there are also many exciting experiences during the event to create an unforgettable Easter holiday for children. The "DB Plaza Inflatable Park" will feature a giant inflatable trampoline castle and multiple inflatable game booths. Children holding valid "Egg Hunt Passes" can participate for free during the event and release their energy to their heart's content. At the same time, Discovery Park North Plaza will be transformed into an “Easter Egg Check-in Park”, with multiple sets of inflatable Easter egg installations set up for families to take photos. In addition, to allow you to enjoy more parent-child fun, this year we have specially launched the "Egg Hunt Pass Package". Children with this package can also participate in the "TeamUnlock+" Discovery Bay Easter online adventure tracking game, and the whole family can challenge more exciting tasks together. Discovery Bay Beach Egg Hunt and Carnival

The event will be held over two days, and children will be divided into five groups based on their age to participate in the egg hunt: 3-4 years old (must be accompanied by an adult guardian), 5-6 years old and 7-10 years old. Each participant will receive a welcome gift pack before entering, which includes egg-digging tools and exquisite souvenirs. Each Easter egg can be redeemed for a designated exquisite prize, and if you find a larger giant egg among the many Easter eggs, you will have the chance to win special prizes worth more than HK$1,000! Each participant will receive an event certificate as a souvenir.

How to Apply

Each child participating in the "Discovery Bay Beach Egg Hunt" must hold a pass for admission. The following are the pass types and registration details:

A) Egg Hunt Pass

Administration fee: HK$298/child

Each Egg Hunt Pass includes the following:

· One "Egg Hunting" welcome gift pack (including egg digging tools and souvenirs)

· Participate in the “Egg Hunt” game session (for one child aged 3 to 10 years old. Children aged 3 to 4 years old must be accompanied by an adult guardian aged 18 years or above)

· One "Egg Hunt" certificate

· One game pass for the same day at "DB Plaza Inflatable Park"

B) Egg Hunt Pass Package

Administration fee: HK$398/child

Each Egg Hunt Pass Package includes the following:

· Participate in the “Egg Hunt” game session (for one child aged 3 to 10 years old. Children aged 3 to 4 years old must be accompanied by an adult guardian aged 18 years or above)

Discovery Bay Beach Egg Hunt and Carnival 2025 — Colouring and Drawing Competition for Kindergarten and Primary School Students in Hong Kong and Macau

This year, Discovery Bay held the “Beach Egg Hunt and Carnival 2025 — Colouring and Drawing Competition for Kindergarten and Primary School Students in Hong Kong and Macau”, inviting kindergarten and primary school students from all over Hong Kong and Macau to showcase their artistic talents and creativity. Winners will receive prizes and participate in the Discovery Bay Beach Egg Hunt and Carnival to share in the festive joy.

The competition is divided into two categories (3-7 years old and 8-12 years old). Each category will have one gold, silver, bronze medal and five honorable mention awards. The gold prize winner will receive a trophy and a $1,000 Discovery Bay gift certificate. The Silver Prize winner will receive a trophy and a $500 Discovery Bay gift certificate.
